TWIN OAKS est l’une des plus célèbres communautés intentionnelles d’Amérique du Nord. Guidée par des idéaux égalitaires, ouverte à la fluidité de genre et partisane d’une économie du partage intégral, sa centaine de membres vit et travaille au cœur de la nature, dans un équilibre constamment réinventé. Le sociologue Michel Lallement et la photographe Édith Roux ont séjourné à Twin Oaks en complète immersion. Croisant leurs regards et leurs pratiques, où l’enquête rejoint la poésie du réel, iels offrent le portrait sensible et nuancé d’un collectif d’adultes et d’enfants qui a choisi de s’écarter de la société dominante pour mieux explorer d’autres manières d’habiter.
